The Collective Good partnered with me to redesign their website and bring their growing library of work to life in a more engaging and scalable way. Their previous site wasn’t fully aligned with their mission of social impact and creativity, and it lacked the flexibility to showcase their expanding portfolio. I not only redesigned the site with a fresh, modern aesthetic but also migrated it into Webflow, ensuring full CMS functionality.
This included a custom CMS setup for their case studies and blog articles — allowing their team to easily publish, update, and maintain content without relying on developers. A key highlight was designing a unique case study page layout within the CMS that gave each project the storytelling depth it deserved while remaining easy to scale.
The original website felt static and didn’t capture the organization’s energy, impact, or mission. Its rigid templates made publishing new content a burden, often forcing the team to adapt their stories to fit within design constraints rather than letting the design support the storytelling.
With The Collective Good producing more case studies and publishing thought leadership, the existing setup simply couldn’t keep up. They needed a CMS structure that could handle growth while still allowing for creative freedom in how each piece was presented. Ensuring scalability without losing individuality was a key challenge.
An editorial approach was central to the redesign, but that came with the challenge of maintaining usability and performance. It was crucial to design an interface that emphasized whitespace, clear hierarchy, and impact-driven visuals, while also being intuitive, responsive, and easy to navigate across all devices.
I refreshed the site’s overall look and feel to better represent The Collective Good’s mission. The new design leverages clean typography, bold layouts, and thoughtful use of imagery to give their projects the storytelling stage they deserve. This transformation not only improved aesthetics but also established a stronger connection between their brand and their audience.
The entire site was rebuilt in Webflow, with a custom CMS designed specifically for their needs. I created flexible structures for both case studies and blog articles, giving the team a powerful backend that could handle growth while still offering simplicity in publishing. This eliminated bottlenecks and gave them the freedom to focus on content rather than technical hurdles.
To address the need for impactful storytelling, I designed a custom CMS template that allows each case study to feel distinct and editorial while remaining consistent across the site. This ensures every project gets the space to showcase its unique narrative, while still maintaining a polished, unified design language. The end result is a scalable storytelling system that balances creativity with structure.
My collaboration with The Collective Good redefined their digital presence by combining design, storytelling, and scalability. The new site not only modernized their brand visually but also gave their team the tools to publish content freely and confidently. With a unique case study framework, editorial-inspired layouts, and a flexible CMS, the site is now a powerful platform for showcasing their work and amplifying their mission.
